bare naked bowls landed in manly in 2015 in the backstreets of market lane, with the mission to make healthy living effortless and simple, an acai bar with a difference, taking the wonderful acai bowl to a whole new level. quickly gaining a huge fan base, new venues opened across sydney & brisbane between 2017-2019

we discovered bare naked bowls on new years eve 2018 while searching for somewhere “new” to take our family near the beach on new years day. as soon as we walked into the dee why café, we instantly fell in love! the bowls were amazing & everything aligned with our passion for vibrant, healthy & DELICIOUS eating; in that moment we knew we had to be part of what bare naked bowls was all about…& so the dream began…

the journey to be sydney’s next bare naked bowls took off in early 2019 & involved a search over two years (& many suburbs) for the ‘right’ location. in march 2020, we were just days away from finally securing a site on kent st in the sydney cbd, when the universe had other ideas & the world stopped as covid hit us & we were sent into lockdown. the dream came to a halt over the next 6 months & we wondered if it would ever happen, or how long the sydney cbd (the dream location) would take to piece back together. but as the light at the end of the first covid tunnel began to shine through, an opportunity landed right on our doorstep, literally! bringing our love of bowls “the naked way” to our wonderful northmead community seemed like the perfect fit & the dream finally came to life in feb 2021 as we flung open the doors to our very own bowl paradise; being able to share our passion for bare naked bowls was at last, our reality!
